Awesome stuff. I personally think that Camus's interpretation is the way to go. No matter how absurd Sisyphus's life seems, all of our lives are in some shape or form the same way. It is up to ourselves to decide how we process events and what emotions we feel. Freud's pleasure principle is just too depressing to think about as I believe that temporary/instant gratification is not actually happiness, but merely an illusion of it. I do agree with both Freud and Camus that there is no ultimate purpose in life, it is ultimately up to ourselves to make the most of our own lives.
